Entrance of CIDI
Around two week ago, I have been the open house of Chanapatana International Design Institute, which is an institution that brings the course from Italy.
The primary mission of CIDI is development of Thai designers to the world wide. There is two disciplines, is fashion design and interior & product design (the two years course). The most interesting, there is two students are selected to study in Italy with out paying.
By the way, CIDI has been supported by Luangphor Viriyang Sirintharo, the Lord Abbot of Dhammamongkol Temple. The cost will be inexpensive than to study in Italy.The institution located in Thammongkol temple. (Personally, I really like about study design in the temple. you cannot find this in the other place)
CIDI is suitable to anyone who is interested and love to learn about design even have no experience.

เมื่อสองอาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมาได้ไปงานเปิดบ้านของ สถาบันออกแบบนานาชาติชนาพัฒน์ (CIDI) เป็นสถาบันที่นำหลักสูตรมาจากอิตาลี ซึ่งมีพันธกิจหลักคือ มุ่งพัฒนานักออกแบบไทย ให้สามารถพัฒนาฝีมือการออกแบบให้ทัดเทียมและสามารถแข่งขันกับตลาดโลกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ มี 2 สาขาวิชาด้วยกัน คือ แฟชั่นดีไซน์ และ ออกแบบตกแต่งภายในและผลิตภัณฑ์ (หลักสูตร 2 ปี) ที่น่าสนใจที่สุดคือ ในแต่ละปีการศึกษาจะทำการเลือกนักเรียนไปเรียนต่อที่อิตาลี สาขาละ 1 ทุน
เกือบลืมบอกไปว่า สถาบันออกแบบนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากหลวงพ่อวิริยังค์ สิรินธโร’ เจ้าอาวาสวัดธรรมมงคล จึงทำให้ค่าใช้จ่ายถูกกว่าการที่จะไปเรียนที่อิตาลี (คุณภาพเท่ากัน) แถมยังมีความแตกต่างของสถานที่เรียนอย่างชัดเจนคือ สถาบันนี้ตั้งอยู่ในวัดธรรมมงคล (โดยส่วนตัวแล้วรู้สึกว่าเจ๋งไปเลย เรียนดีไซน์ในวัด ซึ่งหาที่ไหนไม่ได้อีกแล้ว)
ใครสนใจที่จะเรียนดีไซน์ แม้ยังไม่มีประสบการณ์ ก็ขอเชิญลองไปดูกันได้นะครับ
